Amelia Golding

An old copycat thought she can rip off photos from the internet and get away with it. Unfortunately, they are copyrighted as well.

But an Australian woman has revealed that at least one youthful photo of the singer is not what it seems.

Amelia Golding, a 28-year-old writer, photographer and digital marketer in Sydney, says that Madonna’s face was Photoshopped onto her body and used to promote the singer’s Rebel Heart album on Instagram.

“When Madonna posts a photo of herself to IG to promote her album but it’s actually your body (I’m not joking),” Golding wrote in a TikTok post earlier this month that has racked up more than two million views.

Goldimg, 28, told Buzzfeed that when she first saw the image she “thought it was a joke,” but then she realized it was posted to Madonna’s official Instagram account.

Around the time the photo was originally posted, Golding’s story was published in a magazine under the headline “Madonna stole my body.” Golding said in an Instagram comment on a 2017 post that she sold the magazine the original photo, which is why she’s not reposting it on her account. However, there is a black-and-white comparison of the two photos from July 23, 2015.

Madonna doesn’t appear to have ever responded to the controversy, but since Amelia’s TikTok went viral, people have been criticizing the 62-year-old in the comment section on the May 2015 photo.

“Ridiculous! Pay up to the real owner of that body and stop lying! I now don’t trust any of your other pictures!!” wrote Bonnie Holbrook.

Others called the singer a thief.

Still, other fans have defended Madonna, with some suggesting the singer might have expected everyone to realize the photo was Photoshopped without her pointing it out. Most agreed the editing job was terrible, with Madonna’s head being too large for the body.

Others said the image was likely merely reposted by Madonna, or that her social media team is to blame, as it’s highly unlikely the star would have done the Photoshopping herself.

One commenter identified the original source of Madonna’s face — the red carpet of the 2013 Met Gala.

Golding has also received “thousands of comments” on social media, she told Buzzfeed.

“I’ve been told it’s a great ‘party flex,’ which makes me laugh,” she said. “I told it at a job interview and they loved it.”

Golding said she is a Madonna fan and the song Hung Up was on her “teenage playlist for quite some years,” so if she had a chance to talk to the star, she would “definitely laugh and say I’m flattered.” But she would also let the singer know that she wishes someone had given her credit.

“I tried to reach out via Instagram to her team twice, to no response,” she said. “I think if you’re going to play somebody else’s body off as your own, they deserve to be mentioned. But no hard feelings!”

George Gershwin

Lyrics for song "more" are definitely 'inspired' by song "I got plenty o'nuttin'" composed by Geroge Gershwin and written by his wife and Edwin DuBose Heyward. If you watched Secret Project you know it's not the only time she stole from George.
The Sergei Parajanov, Mary Louise Brooks, Cher and Jean Harlow and Grace Kelly posts have been updated.

24.8.17

50 Cent

Again, it's not about the same title, but similar lyrics and ripping off the idea. Candy shop and sweets are used as a metaphor of having $ex. Though found it on Aisha's judicary report I've noticed some more similarities, like heat on a dancefloor.
0:39- 1:07- 1:19
50 Cent feat. Olivia- candy shop
0:43- 0:56- 1:27- 1:57
Madonna- candy shop

23.8.17

The S.O.S. Band

Now something "new", even if you were lucky to watch Secret Project part 16 before removing from yt( due to copyright infrigement of Mummydonna's music LOL) that plagiarism wasn't included there.
Lines in "get together" (1:06/ 2:01) taken from popular song "take your time( do it right)" (1:05/ 1:13 etc)

22.8.17

The Police

In song 'push' she stole 2 lines from The Police- every breath you take.
She and her writer changed the word "you" into "I". Other lines also are based on the same formula( just like in "thief fits court")
Every ____(sth)_____ I/ you _____(do)____
However they failed ending with line "Everything I do".
They also tried to make rhymes like in Sting's song but of course failed as they are not songwriters but plagiarist and DJ.

21.8.17

Walt Whitman

This time rip off which I didn't find on Aisha's website but on wikipedia.
Lyrics for 'sanctuary'(In the beginning 0:05 and ending 3:17 and 3:32) stolen from Walt Whitman's poem 'voices' from book 'leaves of grass' (0:26)

The Association

The Association- cherish 1966 0:11/ 2:19
Madon'nah- cherish 1989  2:24/ 3:14
No. I don't mean she stole the title but lyrics.
Thanks for Anthony from forum for finding this rip off.

Gap Commercial

http://madonnaisnotthequeen.boards.net/thread/84/ray-light-album-rip-offs
"Madonna stole two lines from a GAP commercial for the song "Sky Fits Heaven," which is included in her 1998 album, Ray of Light.
- She changed "ride" to "fly," hoping nobody would catch on to the theft
- The "child fits mother so hold your baby tight" line is an obvious rip-off
- The rest of Madonna's song relies on the "_____ fits _____" formula. While Max Blagg's poem line of "lips fits mouth" isn't in Madonna's song, other notable lyrics in the song using this formula are "fate fits karma" or "love fits virtue", among others.
But its kind of pathetic if you ask me. Stealing a lyric from a TV commercial? That's Madonna for you."

PS While listening to 'plagiarist fits jail' song I reminded myself Robert Miles' music and listened to few of his soundtracks. You can add "celebration" song to list of titles "she stole". Robert released it in 1996 album dreamland.

17.8.17

Kylie

I have already posted about rip offs from Minogue but not about lyrics for "like it or not" taken from "Better the devil you know" .
Source of photo.
PS The previous post moved down and it's possible to see all lyrics from Bible now. The same will happen with this post when I'll post the next one.

16.8.17

The Holy Bible

OK, today( on Madge's birthday) I begin new cycle of posts about lyrics she stole.
The first one is about total copy of all lyrics taken from Bible, Book of Revelation.
Remix of justify me love (the beast within remix) and its later version- The Beast within from re-plagiarism tour steal samples from religious anthem by Fairuz. But for this immoral hoe it wasn't enough blasphemy to mix song about Jesus Christ with her whorish shit, she also had to take lyrics from Bible and add just a few useless words from "justify my plagiarisms".

10.8.17

Song titles

As you can see in Secret Project part 19 Eve was accussed by Little Mafossils to copy Hagdonna's song title "who's that girl"( even though Eurythmics had it before). Luckily they didn't accuse of it another singer with this hit title, but there are still many singers "ripping off song title from Xerodonna" even when it's not the same title. Lady Gaga's song "diamond heart" infriges copyrights of title 'rebel heart' or Dan Balan's "justify sex" steals from "justify my love". Sick and tired of watching these pathetic  comparisons on Madge fanatics level I've made a list showing "Mandonna stealing song titles"(by their.... let's call it logic')

PS I don’t mention her covers with the same titles( Fever, Love don’t live here anymore, Don’t cry for me Argentina, American pie etc.)

PS2 I only checked titles of her singles, not all songs from her albums.

PS3 I checked info only from 1 website (songfacts.com), which doesn’t consist of all titles. Some of her singles weren’t in database. There also wasn’t Winger’s ‘Miles away’.

It means there are far more songs with the same title as her songs recorded before.

6.7.17

Electric Skychurch

When I posted Marlene Dietrich rip off( photo on the bottom) on fleadip's forum she replied that someone claimed years ago that Madonna copied Electric Skychurch. She had no idea what that person meant. I saw a few of their videos on youtube and also didn't see any resemblance in video for 'frozen'. However I recalled how someone on idiotic forum accused Marta Sanchez of copying Madonna's moves from 'frozen'. It was it! I watched once again ES' video and saw the same hands moves of vocalist. I made the comparison and later defended Marta and others in Secret Project part 19 who were said to copy Madon'nah.
I know it may be difficult to see similarities on photos so watch videos for yourself:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KkXdjMe1aTM (0:57- 1:02/ 1:43- 1:52)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XS088Opj9o0  ( from 4:00)
On first comparisons you see album cover for ES' "Together" on which is song "Deus", sung on this show and beginging of 'frozen' video. Both made on desert.

Sergei Parajanov

from SuperAmanda's lisal: "I lost all respect for Dali when I saw that Madonna and Wallis Simpson favourite, mass murderer Fascist Franco had pinned a medal on him and while he may not be the one(s)plagiarised above he's representing the surrealists who were."
One of them is Sergei Parajanov- the director of biographical movie about Sayat Nova- the color of pomegranates.
Other surrealists ripped of by queen of hommages

22.6.17

Angelyne

Another rip off from an underground, less popular person, this time actress. Didn't she learn over the years that imitating someone's style (Dietrich. Monroe etc.) won't make you any better in acting?

Shirley MacLaine

Might as well rip off your ex-boyfriend's sister too!

15.6.17

Will Smith

A post apocaliptycal story in abandoned city. A guy with a gun and dog meets woman and a kid and togethet try to survive. I have a feeling that I've seen this before.. oh yeah in one of the most known and successfull american movies "I am legend".
Only the endings of stories are different. The Wills's one is very tragic but considering how ghosttown and rebel heart flopped Madge's story is also very sad.

Patricia Hearst

No. No one will EVER take a Wallis Simpson/materialist proud corporate capitalist apologist with a Made in China clothing and makeup line being peddled by her exploited oldest child seriously posing as a Leftist Radical. Not even her fans.

21.4.17

Green Day

Is there any Mandon'nah's album without any plagiarisms and rip offs? No. Will she ever release a new original album? I don't think so. After watching her 30+ years career build on other people's ideas I'm sure she will reamain the queen of P.O.P.( plagiarising other people).

Brigitte Bardot

Did a muscle man, six pack abs lame version of Bardot and her button up dress in the "Cherish" video which was 100% STOLEN from Vadim and BB's "...And God Created Woman (French: Et Dieu… créa la femme)" Also stole Bardot's makeup and hair styles DOZENS of times. The jewel encrusted body stocking was ripped off pre-internet right down to the upper arm bracelets, when Miesel and Madonna were certain few would notice or have the original pics to disseminate.

6.4.17

Martha Graham

Hailed as one of the most innovative and accomplished dancers and choreographers of the last century, the way in which Martha Graham moved in dance and expressed her creativity through body motion reshaped the dance in a way that has been compared to the way Picasso changed visual art and Frank Lloyd Wright redesigned architecture.
Martha Graham’s influence on the dance and ballet has reached as far as instruction to some of the top names in Hollywood including Bette Davis, Liza Minelli and Madonna.
https://www.cennarium.com/blog/5-reasons-martha-graham-reference-dance-industry/
Martha died in 1991. Few years later queen of hommadges made a tribute for her in Harper Baazar's photoshoot.
PS Raffaella Carra post was updated.
Princess Diana post was removed as her photoshoot was taken in 1997, two years after Madonna's.

Andy Warhol

"Deeper and Deeper" video is a COMPLETE Warhol rip off from start to finish! Even being a "sanctioned rip off" is sneaky because most under 35 are not going to pick up on or know about the original Factory influences.

30.3.17

Pink Floyd

Not only singers (female or male), actors or celebrities are compared with Madonnah. Even the Mundial's opening ceremony in 2014 was compared by professional journalists her fans with this unoriginal, uncreative copycat who didn't push any boundary. Her so called "reinventions" are nothing but rip offs from one person to another. She copies everyone from singers, actresses, poets through painters, movie directors to choreogrphers and composers.
On the left photos we see a huge, automatically opened disco ball from 2006 "future thiefs" on confessions tour. Pink Floyd copied that idea from Madge and backed into time to 1994.

Whitney Houston

I sincerely believe that if Whitney Huston had hit it big in the late 90s and not the late 80s that she'd be alive today. The racist US media cared only about Madonna and Whitney never ever received the magazine covers (not one mainstream cover), press coverage and critical due that she deserved. Despite achieving the top TWO FILMS in two years (making her the number one female box office star for that period which Madonna will never accomplish) and selling 40+ million albums in a few years she was considered niche because of her race. There were no Beyonces or Black female, wholesome household names until Whitney yet as the first she was treated somewhat like a freak by the Madonnacentric media. Madonna exploited this fact and used it to her advantage with the media's full support and backing. Had Whitney had a powerful platform in the media like Beyonce and Rihanna do today I believe she would not have drifted into deadly excess.

26.2.17

Meaghan Jette Martin

How low did a "queen of pop" had to fall to copy a mediocre musical for teenagers?
Is it a coincidence that Camp Rock has similar chorus to Human nature MDNA Tour?

Björk

If you are going to cover another artist's song in a cack 2 million dollar video then at least don't copy their hairstyle as well.

21.2.17

Charlotte Church

Looks like she loves copying Charlottes. First she copied Rampling, later Gainsbourg and now Charlotte Church.

Rita Hayworth

While the video of "this used to be my video" is a carbon copy of Boy George- to be reborn the scenery  and style were taken from Rita's photoshoot.
